Direction from the language
The stylesheet uses logical properties only. Switch the storefront language and the layout follows, from the same code, with no RTL override layer to break on the next update.
Shopify theme · Hebrew-first · RTL
Sela is a Shopify theme designed right-to-left from the first line of code. No rtl.css, no RTL app:
direction follows the page language, Hebrew fonts ship inside the theme, and search works in Hebrew
where Shopify's predictive search does not.
Three demo stores, one theme, running the released version. Open one on your phone, type something in the search box, open the cart and look at a price inside a sentence. Storefront password for all three: ivrit.

Shopify's predictive search returns 417 for Hebrew storefronts. Sela routes typed queries to Shopify's regular search instead and shows results from the first letters.
Shopify's font library has no Hebrew glyphs. Sela ships seven open-license Hebrew fonts as subsetted, self-hosted woff2 files, chosen in the theme editor.
Prices, phone numbers, dates and countdowns are isolated so the digits keep their authored order inside right-to-left text.
A floating WhatsApp button and a click-to-chat teaser are theme sections, with Israeli number conversion and RTL-aware corner logic.
Sections and blocks everywhere, JSON templates, no build step. Three presets switch from the theme editor without reinstalling.
Every claim on this page can be checked in the demo stores. We publish no accessibility-standard or performance figures here; the Hebrew page and the changelog carry what is measured.
Incl. VAT. Perpetual license for two published stores, 12 months of version updates and email support in Hebrew or English, full refund within 14 days. Checkout and invoicing are in Hebrew (Israeli payment page).
A theme. There is no app layer and no rtl.css: direction follows the page language in every line of code, and the same code renders left-to-right when the storefront language is English.
Shopify's predictive search API does not support Hebrew (it returns 417 for unsupported buyer locales). Sela does not call it; it routes the typed query to Shopify's regular search and shows the first results in the suggestions panel, from the first letters typed.
Yes. The Shopify font library covers Latin ranges only, so Sela ships seven open-license Hebrew fonts as self-hosted woff2 files, selectable in the theme editor.
One payment of 1,290 ILS incl. VAT. A perpetual license for two published stores (development, test and staging copies are not counted), 12 months of version updates, and 12 months of email support in Hebrew or English. Full refund within 14 days, no questions asked.
Support, yes: write in Hebrew or English and you get an answer in the same language, about either side of your store. The documentation is in Hebrew for now. The theme itself runs in English from the same code, with its own edited English text in the storefront and the theme editor.
Three demo stores run the released version. The storefront password is "ivrit" for all three.
